About the Work
Others are mirrors of ourselves, just as we are mirrors of others. The emotions we harbor toward others are often the very feelings they hold toward us, and humans keenly sense these on an unconscious level. If all forms of communication are based on this mirror principle, then loving others might be considered a transformation of self-love. To love others, one must first love oneself and even forgive the parts of oneself that are difficult to love. The love that emerges beyond this internal struggle is a gift bestowed upon all people, for we were all born as beings of innate omniscience.
